You should give the insurer the job title which most accurately describes what you do for the majority of your time. Although will not want to "over-insure" yourself against risks which do not actually apply to you, you also do not want to be in a situation where you have an accident, and the insurer refuses to pay out because you were doing a job role which you had not told them about at the time. Some insurers will allow you to explain your individual circumstances in more detail on an "other comments" section. Others may reduce your premiums if you explain to them that your risk is not as high as their calculations may make out. For example, if you are a salesperson who spends most of the time on the telephone, and only visits clients occasionally, then your insurer should be able to treat you in much the same way as other office workers.
