The vast majority of women believe that a recent European ruling that could significantly effect car insurance premiums is unfair.
This week, the European Court of Justice ruled that insurance firms can not use gender as a means of calculating premiums .
It means that women will have to begin paying much higher car insurance costs, while the price of insurance for men is likely to fall.
A survey by MyVoucherCodes.co.uk has found that 78 per cent of women said they were unhappy with the court's decision, reports the Press Association.
Just 22 per cent said they thought the move was fair on gender discrimination grounds.
Unsurprisingly, men were largely in favour of the changes, with 74 per cent saying they thought it was fair.
Consumer groups and industry leaders have largely criticised the ruling, with confused.com calling the move a "gender tax on women".
The new law comes into effect from December 2012.
