RIAS named recommended car insurance provider

RIAS has once again been named as a 'Recommended Provider' for car insurance by independent consumer organisation Which?.

The specialist over 50s insurance provider was given the accolade after Which? surveyed the UK car insurance market for the best quality policies and highest standard of customer service.

"We are delighted that our car insurance product has once again been recognised by Which? as one of the best in the market," remarked Janet Connor, managing director at RIAS.

"It is a sought after privilege to be named as a Recommended Provider, especially by Europe's largest consumer rights association, and it is a true reflection of how our products perform in terms of quality in the market place."

Meanwhile, confused.com revealed last week that car insurance prices rose by 38.2 per cent in 2010.

This means that the average price paid across all age groups has risen to £695.
