New car insurance comparison tool launched

The UK's biggest cashback and voucher code site, Quidco, has launched its own car insurance comparison tool.

According to the firm, the new service will help users to find the cheapest policy for their needs and earn cashback when taking out the insurance .

John Nelmes, from St Ives, used the service to take out a new car insurance policy, reducing his annual premium by £48 and earning cashback of £24.

"When looking for a new deal for your car insurance, it's wise to look around to find the cheapest deals," commented Hannah Green at Quidco.

" Comparison sites search the market on your behalf and while this can result in a reduced premium, you receive no further reward for clicking through to purchase the insurance policy ."

Car insurance claims are common at this time of year as nights are shorter and roads are often found in a state of disrepair.
