Sheilas' Wheels, the leading car insurance provider, plans to extend its brand into a driving academy that will launch in spring 2011.
The firm has revealed that it will use the knowledge of women's claims and driving characteristics to tailor lessons that will provide learners with more knowledge to stay safe.
While the academy will operate as a business in its own right, it will also look to raise awareness with branded pink Academy Cars that will mirror the iconic vehicle from the provider's advertisements.
Peter Wood, chairman and founder of Sheilas Wheels, commented: "This move is a natural extension of a brand that has grabbed the imagination of women over the last five years.
"We can insure women more cheaply because their safety and convictions records are consistently better."
Meanwhile, the independent financial research company Defaqto claimed recently that 23 per cent of car insurance breakdown policies exclude cover if you fill your car up with the wrong fuel .
