Zurich Connect has revealed the main distractions that could cause drivers to have to make claims on their car insurance .
The company commissioned a survey, carried out by YouGov, to find out what was diverting the attention of motorists, and it was revealed that attractive women came top of the list.
Also in the top ten of distractions were heritage sites such as Stonehenge, flocks of birds and shop window displays.
Another distraction was scenic views, which came higher in the survey than the David Beckham underwear adverts for Armani .
Zurich Connect's Mike Quinton said: "Surprisingly, the Yorkshire Dales beat David Beckham's pants hands down as roadside eye candy.
"We can only conclude that drivers passing through stunning landscapes need to be especially vigilant if they want to avoid becoming part of the scenery."
Another distraction that can often lead to car insurance claims is mobile phones, with Direct Line's research showing that 16 per cent of motorists admitted they have used their handset while driving in the past 12 months.
