Households with more than one vehicle may be interested in a car insurance solution that is aimed at them.
Admiral has introduced the MultiCar insurance product, which provides cover for between two and five cars on the same policy, offering customers greater discounts the more cars they add.
According to the firm, this could lead to savings of up to 23 per cent while also giving drivers less worry as they do not have to deal with many car insurance companies .
Admiral's managing director Sue Longthorn, said: "Each Admiral MultiCar policy can hold up to five cars from any single household; this could be a couple, parents and their children, or even housemates.
"In fact it doesn't matter who owns the cars, as long as they are all for private use and all registered at the same address."
Research carried out by moneysupermarket.com recently showed that 19 per cent of drivers have admitted to getting behind the wheel of a vehicle they are not insured on, something that is against the law .
