Free wash for HSBC car insurance customers

Car insurance customers taking out a new policy with HSBC could get their vehicles washed for free for up to a year.

The company has announced that, courtesy of ARC and IMO, new customers will receive 12 vouchers for free monthly car washes.

Anyone wishing to take up the offer will have to get an insurance quote direct from HSBC by the end of October and will then have to purchase a policy within 30 days.

Andrew Ferguson, HSBC's head of general insurance, said: "Many of us find keeping our cars clean a real chore, even going so far as bribing the kids to clean them.

"HSBC's special offer takes this hassle away from our customers for an entire year - although it may mean having to find other ways to keep the kids occupied."

Meanwhile, anyone wishing to keep their car clean for businesses purposes may want to take note of the fact that they may need to tell their insurance provider about the nature of use of the vehicle .
