Free car insurance offer from Swiftcover

Seven lucky people could be in with a chance of getting free car insurance as a result of a new promotion from Swiftcover .

The company is celebrating its fifth birthday and has therefore initiated the giveaway, open to drivers who buy their car insurance policy from the firm.

From the end of July, one customer will be selected every day, with the winners having the cost on their cover refunded up to the value of £500 for a year.

Tina Shortle, marketing director for swiftcover.com, said: "It has been an amazing first five years, so we wanted to celebrate by rewarding the people who have made it all possible - our customers.

"We look forward to the next five years of offering cheap, hassle-free insurance to UK drivers."

Swiftcover was the UK's first internet only insurance company and currently provides 700,000 people with car insurance .

Meanwhile, HSBC recently offered free monthly car washes as an incentive for one of its car insurance policies .
