Fortis launches new car insurance product

Fortis has lunched its new Fleet Guard insurance initiative.

The new car insurance product offers cover to businesses for between three and 50 vehicles .

Features of the insurance include a maximum legal claims limit of up to £100,000 for non-fault claims.

In addition, the insurance policy provides a like-for-like replacement vehicle and physiotherapy after an accident .

In addition, it also includes full EU and EEA cover and business use cover for employees using their own vehicles for work purposes.

Andrew Wallace, managing director of Direct Fleet Insurance Services, piloted the policy and said that it provides a "flexible and competitive" service.

He added: "The electronic policy documentation makes the product even more appealing to me as a broker, making adjustments feel almost instantaneous compared with other insurers in the market."

In December last year, Fortis won the Institute for Fiscal Studies' 'most effective insurance initiative or new product' award for YourLife Plan and Real Life Cover .
