Diamond car insurance offers garage-free package

Women who would rather avoid going to a garage to sort out car insurance and repairs may be interested in Diamond's new Best Friend Garage Network.

Those who take out car insurance with the company will have their car collected and delivered back to them, meaning a trip to the garage is not required when maintenance work needs to be carried out.

Cars are also returned washed and vacuumed and Diamond car insurance customers are entitled to discounts off MOT servicing and repair fees.

Sian Lewis, managing director of the car insurance company, said: "The Best Friends Garage Network will mean that Diamond customers may never have to deal directly with a garage again - a benefit I'm sure many women will appreciate!"

Price comparison website Confused.com recently added car insurance provider Women on Wheels to its list of female-targeting insurers available for evaluation.
