Rolls Royce is favourite, says car insurance provider

A woman-only car insurance provider has found that most females would like a Rolls Royce as the transport for their wedding .

Diamond surveyed 1,500 women on how they would like to tie the knot in style and found that most wanted the prestigious English model, while a horse and carriage and an Aston Martin came in close behind.

More unusual choices came in the form of a fire engine, a New York yellow taxi and a DeLorean from 80s film Back to the Future, according to the car insurance provider .

Sian Lewis, managing director of Diamond, said: "It's really interesting to see that the credit crunch could be having an impact too, as one in ten women would consider using public transport to get to the church. Although probably not on time!"

Car insurance provider Confused.com recently warned that vehicle owners are risking criminal break-ins because they store up to £400 of equipment in their motors.
