Allianz launches car insurance claims team

Allianz has improved its car insurance service by installing a new team of specialists at its handling centre in Birmingham .

Having been trained thoroughly in specialist car insurance claims, the new group will deal with all problems relating to motor, personal injury, vehicle damage and casualty enquiries.

Customers will be able to receive a one-to-one service from a car insurance expert with working knowledge of various specialist cases and can expect to see quicker dealing times, according to the company.

Mark Ashwood, motor trade manager at Allianz Commercial, added: "The expertise of our motor trade claims handlers will enable us to ensure market leading levels of customer service ."

Allianz recently teamed up with CCTV company SmartDrive Systems to provide video camera technology inside commercial vehicles to help prove liability in car insurance claims .

The devices are also believed to reduce the frequency of commercial vehicle collisions by more than 30 per cent.
