Price comparison website Confused.com has added car insurance provider Women on Wheels to its list of insurers available for evaluation.
The company provides cheaper car insurance premiums, discounts, free legal cover and a 90-day European driving extension for women, who, according to statistics, make fewer claims than men.
Adding to Confused.com's panel of 85 existing car insurance providers, Women on Wheels customers who go through the website will also receive a free key care policy worth £11.99, covering locksmith and key replacement charges.
Peter Ablett, commercial director for Confused.com, said: "Over a million women have visited Confused.com already this year, for a motor quote - an increase of nearly a third on last year - so we are delighted to welcome Women on Wheels to our insurance panel."
With many people looking to make cutbacks during the recession, car insurance provider LV= recently revealed that 83 per cent of motorists would actually pay more for cover if they were guaranteed a good service.
