New car insurance offer from Tesco

Car insurance customers could clean up with this new offer from Tesco .

The firm is offering consumers who take out a car insurance policy with it a free pressure washer .

People who take out cover before June 25th 2008 will receive a voucher for a Karcher washer, which they can redeem via Tesco Direct.

Customers who buy their car insurance online will also receive up to 15 per cent of their policy.

Allan Burns, head of Tesco Car Insurance, said: "Washing the car can be a time-consuming hassle and the alternative options are not always cheap.

"Along with this deal our customers will be getting the benefits of our cover with the option of a guaranteed replacement car within three hours and up to £50,000 worth of legal cover."

Those wishing to take advantage of the offer should quote the promotional code "pressure" when applying for car insurance, he concluded.

Last week, Sean Gardner, chief executive officer of MoneyExpert.com, stated that the cost of car insurance is set to rise meaning that people should make sure that they are shopping around.
