Don't pay too much for car insurance

Fri, 22 Feb 2008

With thousands of car buyers expected to be taking out new car finance and car insurance when they purchase a new vehicle with the March 2008 number plates, financial services firms are reminding drivers that they should do some homework to get the cheapest policies on the market.

Searching the whole of the car insurance market rather than sticking with the same insurance company could result in great car insurance savings . Car insurance policies renewed with an insurance company, or those consumers who take up a car insurance quote without shopping around, have been proven to often pay over the odds.

However, the price of a car insurance policy isn’t always the be all and end all. Being aware of the most suitable policy on the market may mean paying slightly more. Reading a policy document will allow the consumer the greatest level of knowledge, and could even result in a cheaper deal.
