Car insurance site wins praise

Tesco Personal Finance's car insurance comparison service TescoCompare.com has won praise from a financial services advice company.

The company has announced its delight after its online tool, which is designed to help car insurance customers source the best deal to suit their individual needs, scored a rating of 87 per cent from expert Defaqto.

In addition, Defaqto found that Tesco's car insurance comparison service provided the best overall option to its users.

Peter Dingle, the managing director at TescoCompare.com, expressed his own delight at the recognition this car insurance website has now received from the reviewers at Defaqto.

"We have worked very hard to develop a car insurance comparison site that goes beyond the usual price comparison tool. While price is important, the right level of cover is even more so," he remarked.

He added that users of the service are able to enter all of their details and requirements, with the site then analysing the market and recommending the best car insurance policy for their needs.

Tesco Personal Finance claims that the tool has access to the best brands available and is totally impartial.
