More Than offers green car insurance incentives

Road users who want to improve their financing situation may be interested to hear about a host of environmentally-friendly car insurance discounts being offered by More Than.

The car insurance company has announced that motorists who drive alternative fuel-powered vehicles will now be able to receive a discount of up to 15 per cent on their car insurance quotes.

Moreover, vehicles with a dual-fuel, biopower, electric or liquefied-petroleum gas powerplant will qualify for a range of car insurance premium reductions.

Underlining its green credentials, More Than has also reminded car insurance customers that it was the first company to offer car insurance reductions for motorists who switched to hybrid vehicles.

"The launch of our eco-car discount for all alternative fuel vehicles is another way we're encouraging our customers to 'go green'," commented Mike Holliday-Williams, managing director of the car insurance company.

Motorists who wish to find cheap car insurance quotes may wish to restrict their search to the internet.

This is because a number of car insurance companies offer fixed discounts for online bookings to reflect the lower overheads involved.
