A car insurance company has announced that it will refund money spent by festival-goers on parking their motor homes during the Glastonbury festival.
This year, the Glastonbury music and arts festival kicks off on June 22nd and £140 weekend tickets for the three-day cultural showpiece have already sold out.
However, the cost of parking a motor home during the event is an additional £50, which it is feared may force some elderly visitors to camp out in tents rather than enjoy the luxury of their motor homes.
Consequently, motor insurance provider Saga has indicated that it will reimburse its car insurance customers for the outlay if they provide a copy of their photo identification tickets.
Motor insurance customers who are planning to attend the Glastonbury festival this summer, though, will still have to factor in costs such as fuel bills and on-site parking.
Once there, they will be able to enjoy a host of classic acts on the Other Stage including Iggy and the Stooges, Bjork and the Chemical Brothers.
On the Pyramid Stage, meanwhile, car insurance policyholders may be interested to learn that Paul Weller, The Who and Shirley Bassey have all agreed to perform.
