UK motorists who are planning to purchase a 57 registration plate new vehicle in September are being urged to consider the cost of car insurance before they sign up for anything.
The claim came following study by insurance company esure. The surveyed British people and found that some 35 per cent dont get a quote before buying a new vehicle. Furthermore, 43 per cent dont bother finding out which insurance group their car falls into.
Car finance is another way in which many borrowers could save money by shopping around, but choose not to. The director of underwriting at esure, Colin Batabyal, reportedly commented: "Being shrewd and shopping around for the best price, finance and insurance deals could slash hundreds, if not thousands off the cost of driving away in a new 57 plate."
