Consumers looking to find car insurance may have been given a boost by insurer Churchill.
The company has stated that its car insurance policy now features an "enhanced" courtesy car service.
When making a claim on their car insurance, policyholders are now able to have access to a courtesy car which matches, or is a similar body and engine size to their damaged car, up to a two-litre, five-door estate car.
Furthermore, if the car insurance policyholder drives a van or MPV, they would be provided with a small van or mini MPV while their own vehicle is repaired.
Frances Browning, spokesperson for Churchill Car Insurance, said: "Having to go through the experience of a car accident and subsequently needing to drive a replacement car is traumatic and disrupting enough – especially for motorists, such as parents or salesmen, who rely on their car to survive their daily routines."
Churchill is one of the UK's largest car insurance providers, also offering other policies, such as travel insurance, pet insurance, home insurance and breakdown cover.
