Safe drivers get boost from Privilege

An insurance company is promising to beat all other car insurance renewal quotes for safe drivers.

Privilege Insurance claims that all drivers with four years or more no claims discounts could enjoy savings over £120 if they shopped around for the best insurance quote.

The insurance company is calling for safe drivers to look around for the best insurance deal after it revealed that although over 11 million drivers in the UK have over four years of no claims discount, only half actually bothered to check they were getting the best deal possible in light of their safe record.

Privilege says it aims to reward safe drivers, extending its promise to beat all other insurance renewal quotes until the end of August after it was originally launched in August 2004.

Ian Parker from Privilege Insurance says that to qualify for the offer, all drivers need to do is to prove they have a safe driving record.

"You don't have to live in a posh area or drive a flash car - all you need is four or more claim-free years and we will guarantee to beat your renewal quote," he explained.
