A leading car insurance provider will be targeting safe drivers in its new marketing campaign featuring Absolutely Fabulous actress Joanna Lumley.
Due to be launched on Sunday, March 5th, Privilege Insurance's new promotion will be aimed at motorists who have not claimed from their car insurance for at least four years.
The insurance company estimates that three-quarters of drivers – some 25 million – have not made car insurance claims for more than this time.
Since relaunching in August 2004, the insurance company has guaranteed to beat insurance renewal quotes for these motorists.
"By designing our policies to meet the needs of safe drivers, Privilege rewards motorists who take care on the roads," comments managing director of Privilege Insurance Ian Parker.
Mr Parker says that unlike some other insurance companies Privilege does not focus on a specific region or age group.
"All you need is four or more claim-free years and we will guarantee to beat your renewal quote," he says.
The new advertisements will feature the blonde actress taking to the fairways to find those who drive well.
She will tell them that "you don't have to be posh to be privileged — all you need is 4+ years no claims discount".
