Insurance provider Norwich Union has announced several changes to its car insurance policy.
Alterations include a new policy wording that includes several risk options only previously available on request and several additions to the plan to be carried out by RAC.
These car insurance additions include six months' roadside assistance with each vehicle sold and an option to upgrade to 'at home' and 'anywhere in the UK' insurance.
Other features of the policy are the inclusion of breakdown, explosion and collapse as integral parts of the standard property damage and business interruption cover.
Barry Hogg, motor trade manager for Norwich Union, says: "The new policy has undergone a major overhaul, incorporating many new covers as well as offering a range of value adding services from RAC.
"We are sure that brokers and their motor trade clients will find that this is a much improved offering from Norwich Union."
Recent advice was given to football fans planning to travel on the autobahn this summer by Churchill car insurance.
Being aware of local speed limits, drink-drive laws, carrying a first aid kit and driving on the correct side of the road were all cited as points to be watchful of.
