Lower car insurance for no-claims drivers

The beginning of August is traditionally the busiest time of the year for car insurance providers, as people are still in the annual cycle of renewing car registrations on August 1st.

And with many car insurance policyholders having to renew their car insurance policies soon, Privilege Insurance hopes to draw many new car insurance customers with its special deals.

Drivers with four years or more no claims discount could benefit from the car insurance provider's promise that it would beat any renewal quote they get.

Privilege Insurance is the only car insurance provider in the UK to guarantee drivers with four years' no claims a better price than what they were offered by other car insurance providers.

"We guarantee to beat renewal quotes for safe drivers who haven’t claimed for four years or more, but we have also made sure we don’t fall into the ‘new customers only’ trap," explained Privilege Insurance's managing director Ian Parker.

"It’s important that we continue to look after existing customers by offering them competitive renewal quotes as well as great service," he said.

IDuring the first week of August last year, Privilege Insurance sold double the weekly average of car insurance policies.

Expecting a similar surge in calls from clients looking to renew their car insurance policies, Privilege Insurance has increased its capacity at its Leeds call centre.

The car insurance provider has also updated its website so that visitors could access information and quotes faster and easier.

"Shopping around for car insurance can seem like a chore, particularly during the summer, but customers should use it as an opportunity to challenge their existing insurer by comparing their renewal quote with the competition," Mr Parker advised.
