Nationwide launches car insurance price promise

Nationwide car insurance is offering a double the difference money back guarantee.

The firm's offer, which coincides with the launch of the new 55-registration plate, means that new customers who find like for like cheaper car insurance quote will be refunded double the difference.

The offer is open until October 31st 2005 and ensures cheap car insurance for all of Nationwide's new customers. As well as the double the difference refund, customers who use a Nationwide personal loan to buy their new car will also receive a further ten per cent discount on their car insurance premium.

Customers who buy online will be given a ten per cent discount on their premiums.

Under Nationwide's standard terms customers will be covered for up to 90 days of European driving, given access to the building society's 24-hour accident helpline as well as a courtesy car in the event of any repairs.

Steve Clode, marketing director at Nationwide said: "Nationwide's insurance price promise ensures drivers are getting a good deal. A Nationwide car insurance policy holder knows they are driving away with a real bargain."
