Launched as an addition to the established Sainsbury’s supermarket brand, Sainsbury’s Bank has rapidly become one of the UK ’s leading car insurance providers.
The company proudly claim that motorists who choose to move to one of Sainsbury’s car insurance/motor insurance policies, on a like-for-like deal can save as much as 93 per cent.
Comprehensive Cover
Drivers that choose comprehensive cover are given ac cess to a 24 hour accident recovery and windscreen replacement helpline, and are protected against uninsured drivers - if a driver is involved in an accident with an uninsured driver they will still keep their no-claims discount provided the accident wasn’t their fault.
Policyholders involved in an insured accident are also given a free courtesy car whilst waiting for their car to be repaired by one of Sainsbury’s recommended repairers.
Other standard benefits include up to £1,000 compensation and support available to victims of car-jacking or road rage and £200 cover for grocery shopping in the event of an accident, fire, theft or attempted theft.
Optional Extras
The optional extras available with Sainsbury’s Bank car insurance are motor legal protection and breakdown assistance, provided by Green Flag, which offers peace of mind with roadside assistance, home rescue and recovery.
